"An individual who has demonstrated outstanding commitment, dedication and leadership to the improvement and conservation of the environment and whose actions inspire others to participate in environmentally sustainable initiatives."
This was the description of the prestigious award that our very own Miss Jeanann Lambert was chosen to receive this past Wednesday in St. Johns. Miss Jeanann was the recipient of the individual award with her predessor being none other than Justin Dearing! On June 4th Miss Jeanann along with some family and friends attended a brunch at Admiral’s Green Clubhouse in Pippy Park, St.Johns, where she was formally presented with her award.
The awards program is one way to formally thank and recognize individuals, community groups and businesses for their outstanding efforts and dedication to protect and enhance our environment.
